Let's jump into this.

All right, guys, we've got six top reasons why people are moving to the Salt Lake City area.

Let's jump right into number one.

No. 1 Lifestyle and recreation.

You really can't get better scenery and ease of access to just about any recreational activity that you want to do, whether rock climbing, boating, skiing, kayaking, hiking, or anything that you want to do, here in the state and it's probably within a 1-hour drive or less from where you live. If you're here in Salt Lake County. I know guys that have gone skiing in Park City in the middle of June in the morning, and then in the afternoon, they'll go out on their boat at one of the local reservoirs and go out for some fun times on the water skis.

Where else can you do that? I know so many people that have come out here to be a ski. Bum for just a season and they end up staying for multiple years or even the rest of their life just because they love it so much here in Salt Lake City.

No. 2 Low cost of living.

Yes, that's right. We have a low cost of living here. And even though rents and housing, in general, are on the rise, you can still find a lot of benefits in other areas that you have expenses such as taxes or even cheap gas and cheap groceries. When you compare it to the average median income that a family earned here in Salt Lake City, it makes the cost of living very affordable.

No. 3 Utah is very pro-business.

Now, what do I mean by this? Well, whether you're an employee or you're looking to start your own business, there are lots of things that can help you do just that there are lots of laws. There are lots of zoning regulations and different things that will help you along the way to be successful in whatever industry that you're in.

Whether you're self-employed or you're an employee of another company, the benefit is in your favor. Many of our laws over the past couple of decades have been designed around. Business development to help our businesses here locally grow and to be able to keep things local. This is why there are so many businesses here in Utah that have absolutely boomed, especially in the tech and health industries.

No. 4 Economic growth.

Utah's unemployment rate right now is sitting at about 2.8% as of July 2019, which is insanely low. Other neighboring states around us are sitting between about 3% to 5% unemployment.

So whether you're looking for a job in the education industry, the tech industry maybe it's health or construction, there are tons of jobs to go around, and there are plenty of companies hiring, which means that you have the advantage when you're going to talk to these employers because they know that they need your business because there are so many jobs out there. And it really gives you the best opportunity to get the best fit for what you want to do, as well as to get the highest pay.

This also means that it attracts a lot of top talent here into the state. And of course, that means that they're willing to pay for it. On top of that, they're willing to give you a very livable wage and they want to keep you around. So a lot of companies have great benefits, like paying for your education or even paying us past student debt or similar benefits.

No. 5 Safety.

Utah is one of the safest states here in the country. Now, there are a lot of different ways to measure safety. Whether you're looking at violent crime rates or you're looking at stuff such as property crime rates or even just the number of crashes that you might have on the road, right.

There are lots of different ways to actually look at how safe a state is, and Utah consistently ranks near the top in one recent report, we actually ranked fourth in the top safest state here in the country for overall safety. Regardless of what city or neighborhood you live in, almost every single area is going to have that safe neighborhood feeling where you really don't have to worry about going out at night. And you know that you can let your kids kind of run free through the neighborhood or even send them down to the park on their own so they can go play on the playground.

No. 6  Utah is very family-friendly.

According to a 2017 estimate, Utah actually ranks number one on the list for the biggest average household size coming in at 3.3 people per household. So what does all of this mean? Well, it means lots of kids and what a lot of the kids mean. It's family-friendly and just about anywhere you go you're going to see tons of families enjoying themselves doing everything from eating out at restaurants to doing some of those recreational activities.

There's absolutely so much to do here with the family and I know that if you guys are thinking about moving here to the area you're going to absolutely love it.

Once again if you are thinking about making that move, make sure to get in touch with me, call me, text me, email, whatever you need to do just make sure you get in touch with me so we can start discussing.

Your move and make sure we've found the right neighborhood that's going to fit your lifestyle until next time guys.
